Bladder diary

Using the bladder diary to keep track of your urination habits after your treatment is a critical part of your follow-up care. It’s the only way your trial doctor will be able to assess your progress after your treatment.

On the days when you are completing the bladder diary, keep it close by so you don’t forget to fill in events as they happen. And be sure to take the diary with you to all appointments with your trial doctor.

It’s easy to get started.

Process reminders

  • Always bring a completed diary with you to each visit with your trial doctor. You should try to complete your diary as close to your scheduled visit as possible. Once your visit has been scheduled, it may be a good idea to mark the three days where you will complete your diary on your calendar so you don’t forget!
  • You should hold onto your urine collection “hat” and beaker for the duration of the study. But if you do need a replacement at any time, just ask your trial coordinator.
  • You got this! If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact your study coordinator for assistance.
